ALF Recommendation
At the first forum of the Anna Lindh Foundation in Barcelona, March 4-7, 2010, the ZIVIK Peace Building Project was selected as one of the three best practices in the category of dialogue, along with News Service Middle East (Search for Common Ground), and IPEACE (INFOGROUP International). At the forum we presented the methodology of our project via Powerpoint, which can be viewed here.

This is a great honor, as the forum consisted of over seven hundred representatives of civil society initiatives. Gianluca Solera, Network Coordinator for the Dialogue between Cultures, stated that our project was unique in its combination of dialogue promotion and media monitoring. The Anna Lindh Foundation is an organization shared by the 43 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean, to bring people together to improve mutual respect between cultures, and to support civil society working for a common future of the Region. Since its launch in 2005, the Foundation has developed a region-wide Network of over 3000 civil society organizations.
