Networking

As you may already have imagined, a vital part of this project is networking (the Electronic Network for Arab West Understanding!). For us, this network is both formal and informal – digital (through the world wide web) and physical (actually meeting and connecting with 'real' people) – local (to the Middle East region) and global (in terms of our potential impact - and, we hope, mutually beneficial for everyone who is a part of ENAWU.

Whether you are a student studying comparative religion or an international development organisation, your contribution to our 'network' is extremely valuable to us and below are just a few ideas of how you can get involved – just in helping us to reach out with our message to a wider audience and, at the same time, expand our network of people who share our vision for improving intercultural and inter-faith tolerance and dialogue, particularly between Muslims and non-Muslims and Arabs and non-Arabs.

Just a few ways in which you could help to expand our network

  • Put a link to ENAWU on your website or blog (we will put a reciprocal link on the ENAWU website)

  • Write an article for your organisation\s website, newsletters or for your personal blog - either about ENAWU, your work, our work or your interest in dialogue – and link it to our website.

  • Sign up to our newsletter (published by the Arab West Foundation) which comes out 3 or 4 times each year.

  • If you are a faculty member at a university and you find our resources useful to your students – send them all the link to ENAWU or Arab West Report (and we would love to hear from you as well!).

  • Participate in our discussion forums – start your own discussion thread or join in one of the existing ones.

  • If you work for or represent an organisation that is either interested in or active already in the field of intercultural dialogue please consider how becoming an ENAWU partner could benefit your organisation and members.

  • Recommend ENAWU and its associate resources such as Arab West Report to your family, friends and colleagues.

  • Consider investing in supporting the ENAWU project
