If you are new to Forums please read the explanation of terms at the end of this message.
Important: If you don't finish your post in 10 mins you will be automatically logged out. We advise you to prepare your posts in an external editor and copy/past them to the edit-window.
How do I become a Forum User ?
- register with the ENAWU-Website. You will receive a message that a mail was sent to you with an activation link. Open your mailbox and open the mail from ENAWU. Click on the link and you will get a message that your account is now activated. By registering you automatically accept the forum rules .
- Login to ENAWU and go to Forums
- When you enter for the first time you automatically become a Forum-User (that's why it takes a bit longer at first)
In the Forum-Top-Menu you have three options (unfortunately they don't show up too well)
- Forum: This returns you to the Main-Forum page
- Edit my profile : This allows you to change your personal settings and upload a picture of yourself.
- Show latest posts: Lets you check the newest posts.
- Rules: This is a short breakdown of the rules that apply to this forum
- Help: This text

- Inside a thread you can switch between threaded view and flat view (all postings after each other)
- If you are logged in you can subscribe to a thread which means that you are notified by email when there are new posts.
How can I post to a forum ?

Forum-Terms explained
- A Forum is a "container" for discussions on a certain area (e.g. Arab-Western Understanding)
- Forums can be subdivided to stop discussions getting mixed up
- A thread is when somebody starts a discussion and many people respond to the main article or to other users' answers
- Off-topic are postings that obviously don't belong in this thread. Moderators should delete off-topic postings quickly to reduce "noise"
- Flaming is aggressively attacking another person.
